Thanksgiving is almost here, so we wanted to share some of our favorite SEO tools that we are thankful for. All of these tools save us a significant amount of time in our daily routines, and frankly, we couldn’t do it without them!

Best SEO Tools

Want to use this on your social media or blog? It’s YOURS! We just ask that you link back to us for credit!

RavenRaven’s Reporting Engine allows agencies to compile client reports with ease. It pulls data from a large set of outside tools and formats it into a clear and easy to understand way. We use them exclusively for our Pay Per Click and SEO reporting. We also love their Site Auditor feature, which helps point any issues that could impact a sites SEO.

YoastWe should all be thankful for Yoast’s WordPress SEO plugin. Our favorite feature is by far the bulk title and meta description uploader. Since we do a large amount of on-page tweaks, Yoast drastically cuts down implementation time. Yoast also allows us to knock out duplicate content generated by WordPress by being able to quickly noindex category and tag pages.

Moz LocalMOZ Local is a HUGE time saver for LSEO. It’s one of the first tools we use on LSEO clients and allows us to quickly gauge the health of a businesses citation profile, and also allows us to submit to the top data aggregators in an affordable and easy way.

AhrefsThere’s no denying that ahrefs is the best backlink discovery tool out there. It is by far the most accurate backlink checker, and also features the ability to view “new” and “lost” backlinks. If you are doing content promotion, this tool is an excellent way to discover popular pieces of content, and those willing to share such content.

BuzzStreamIf you handle a large amount of email reach-out, then there’s no doubt you need BuzzStream. This tool helps to manage email correspondence, relationships, and link prospecting lists with ease. We are especially fond of the BuzzStream BuzzMarker which is a browser plugin that saves a huge amount of time link prospecting, and on email reach out .

MozProMOZ Pro is a no-brainer for any SEO. Their Open Site Explorer is phenomenal for evaluating a site’s health, Keyword Difficulty Tool is a huge time-saver, and Followerwonk is a great social media tool. We also love the MozBar that quickly shows Domain Authority and Page Authority, as well as other on-page SEO metrics like meta tags.

BrightLocal:  If you do Local SEO, BrightLocal is a must-have. Their tools are geared towards LSEO and help with citation tracking, citation creation, competition analysis, and local rank tracking. We also love their reporting feature, and use their Citation Tracker and Rank Tracker reports to augment our Raven reports.

Thats all, Folks! Let us know what tools you would include in your Top 7!
