In 2020 Intuitive Digital launched our Inclusion In Digital Marketing Scholarship.

Since its inception in 2020, we’ve proudly continued our tradition of empowering individuals pursuing a college degree in marketing-related fields. This includes those with a passion for web development or design, communications, UX, PPC, SEO, and graphic design.

In our first year, we awarded Jessica a $1000 scholarship. We were delighted to be able to increase the scholarship to $3500 in 2021, supporting promising students like Danny, whose contributions are already shaping their communities.

Continuing this legacy, we were honored to grant Valerie a $4000 scholarship the following year, propelling her academic journey forward. Last year, Angela received a $3000 scholarship, reaffirming our commitment to investing in the next generation of marketing professionals.

Looking ahead to 2024, we’re thrilled to announce that we will once again offer a scholarship of at least $3500!

2024 Scholarship

Avenue Agency is continuing its incredible support of this program as our longest-standing legacy partner. We’re also excited to be working with partners from previous years, AshbeanPDX and Construct the Present.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, including our newest partner Germinate Creative, we achieved a remarkable fundraising milestone of at least $3,500 for this year’s scholarship!

Meet our 2024 Partners:

Avenue is a Portland-based, Certified B Corp digital marketing agency dedicated to partnering with purpose-driven organizations to amplify their impact. As a women and BIPOC/AAPI-led agency, holding certifications as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Women Business Enterprise (WBE), and Emerging Small Business (ESB), we are all too familiar with the systemic barriers that are present in the marketing industry. It is from this foundation that our deep commitment to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive marketing industry stem from. Our commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) and anti-racism is driven by a recognition of systemic racism ingrained in societal institutions, from education to employment.

Our support for the Inclusion in Digital Marketing Scholarship is part of our broader JEDI mission in advancing racial equity. In 2023, we collaborated with Prosper Portland and Mercatus supporting 48 women and BIPOC entrepreneurs through marketing and business consultations. We foster future leaders by annually hosting diverse interns from The Script Internship program and have sponsored Portland Women in Tech (PDXWIT) for six consecutive years. Amongst other initiatives, we also contribute $25,000 annually in pro bono services and donate over 5% of our yearly revenue to local nonprofits, reinforcing our commitment to community and change.

We are proud to collaborate with Intuitive Digital and Ashbean Marketing on this scholarship for the fourth consecutive year, aiming to broaden access to digital marketing education for underrepresented students!

Why a Digital Marketing Scholarship?

We know that Portland, OR is one of the whitest cities in America. The tech and startup community is unfortunately no different. Despite that massive shortcoming, there’s a lot to love about both! Our city offers: four beautiful seasons, breweries, vineyards and distilleries for days and all the outdoor sports you can name. We have a lively arts culture and music scene, farmer’s markets of legend, and a community with meetup groups for just about anything you’re into.

As a member of the tech and startup community, Intuitive Digital is committed to encouraging Inclusion & Diversity in the city and the industry; this scholarship is one way we are walking our talk towards that commitment.

In addition to the city you can experience an award-winning tech startup that prioritizes creating a work-life balance for its employees, invests time and resources into volunteer work and community building, and likes to bond together over a glass of beer (or a mocktail, you do you).
