Efforts Towards an Accessible Website

To aid us in making the Intuitive Digital website a welcome place for everyone, we’ve been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. These guidelines outline how to make websites more user friendly, and accessible for people with disabilities. WCAG guidelines name three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). We aim to meet Level AA standards on our website.

Where We’re At

We worked hard to launch the latest iteration of the Intuitive Digital to meet Level AA standards. We recognize that we are a small team, and that our efforts to maintain this level of access post updates and new content may not always meet the mark we strive for, but we are committed to continuous improvement in this area. If you find any accessibility issues on our website, please get in touch via the methods below.  

Current Targets for Improvements

  • Training for all team members who maintain and add content to our website.
  • Auditing and fixing known issues.
  • Partnering with Accessibility experts for long term Accessibility process improvements.

Latest Improvements

  • Removed an accessibility overlay widget after learning that these overlays do more harm than good.
  • Attended Website Accessibility presentations to further our understanding of current best practices.
  • Created a dedicated feedback form for user’s to submit accessibility issues they find on our site.
